Castaway Marketing, Inc. is a full service internet marketing company formed by internet marketer Chris Miquel who graduated in 2002 from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems. What does this mean? This means the company is capable of handling every aspect of internet marketing from design, to development, to marketing.

After graduation Chris developed a real estate database system for a development company in Miami, Florida to help manage all of the condo conversions that the company owned. This project enabled Chris to apply his data management and development skills to a real world solution. The database system helped streamline the sales and development processes of the company, drastically improving the company's operating efficiency. Chris's next project was for a mortgage brokerage business where he developed a lead acquisition website. The website was marketed through the search engines and helped cut down the acquisition cost per lead for the mortgage company. With these two prior projects under his belt an opportunity came for him to develop an online enterprise application for a start up company Mouse & Bear based in Denver, Colorado. Though the company never took off due to failures in management the project helped Chris organize and fine tune his web development skills.

Over the next couple of years Chris worked as a free lance developer managing websites for companies like TruBamboo, LLC and premier restaurants like E.R. Bradley's Saloon. At the end of 2005, Chris was recruited to be the project manager for Business & IT Solutions in Delray Beach, and by the end of 2006 was the Director of Development, and second in command of the company behind the owner. Business & IT Solutions helped Chris to build managerial and financial business skills. As head Chris over saw the hiring of employees, management of site and application development, management of internet marketing campaigns and client business relationships.

Finally in 2008, Chris was recruited by MedGen, Inc. to revamp the companies internet marketing program. Through the redesign and development of custom e-commerce websites and implementation of internet marketing programs (PPC, SEO, Email and Affiliate Marketing), Chris was able to triple the online business within the first 6 months of operation.
